 today\, our country is divided\; a division that separates many of us from
  friends who hold different political views.  This division prevents us f
 rom addressing major issues facing the country.  \nBraver Angels\, a nati
 on-wide organization\, focuses upon bridging “the partisan divide and st
 rengthening our democratic republic.” They hold workshops (and other pro
 grams) throughout the country. Their goal is to enable polite and respectf
 ul conversation with others.\nBraver Angels is holding a workshop on Octob
 er 8\, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  This workshop is open to everyone.  
 You will learn about the values and concerns of the other political side a
 nd practice skills for communicating more effectively in the presence of d
