Volunteer Opportunities:

Meal provider:  Provide a meal for up to 13 people.

  • Make something that you or your family enjoys, so that if there are leftovers, or the families don't eat as much as expected, you can enjoy it yourself.
  • Meals are brought to the church before 6:00pm. Families will eat about 6:30pm. 
  • We will use paper products provided by FPHCR
  • Profiles will be sent letting you know how many guests will be eating, ages, likes, dislikes and allergies. 

Meal Host:  Sets up the food for serving, eats with the families, & offers hospitality. 

  • Set up the food and drinks cafeteria style.
  • Sit, eat and chat with the families.
  • Assist with children as needed.
  • Stays 6:30 - 9:00pm
  • May bring an activity or craft for the children.
  • See that the door is locked at 9:00pm when they leave.

Van Driver:  Drives 15-passenger van to and from the church and Day Center at 56 Erford Road, Camp Hill. 

  • The AM driver picks up families from the church, the van will be there, and drives them to the Day Center.  Typically, 6:00am weekdays, and 7:30am on weekends.
  • The PM driver picks up families from the Day Center at 6:00pm and drops them off at the church.
  • You can access the church through the keybox.  Code will be given when you sigh up. 
  • On Sunday PM, an extra driver will be needed to drop you off at the Day Center to pick up the families, and Sunday AM driver will need to have someone follow them to the Day Center to drop off the van for the next week.
