Keeping a Holy Week at Home
resources for families
April 5, 2020 will mark the beginning of a special week in the church year called “Holy Week.” Within this week, the church follows the journey of Christ from the triumphal entry into Jersualem to the cross and beyond: to an empty tomb.
A meaningful way to mark the days of this holiest of weeks is through worship and activities in your home. This is good news for all of us who are living in a pandemic and practicing social distancing out of great love for our neighbor.
Scroll down for a few ideas for keeping a Holy Week. Also referenced here are items sent in a mailing to our Sunday School families, along with other crafts or ideas for activities to bring the message alive in a tactile sense!
Blessings on your Holy Week and Easter,
